Sinead O’Connor
Irish superstar Sinead O’Connor will release a new album, I’m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss, on August 11 through Nettwerk Records. Bound to be one of the big records of the year.
The Smith Street Band
They may be exhausted – they’ve just completed a European tour off the back of an Australia tour – but Melbourne’s The Smith Street Band are about to hit the studio to record album number three. It’s going to be out later this year through Poison City Records.
The Beautiful Girls

Glass Animals
You’ve probably heard their song ‘Gooey’, and now the British ‘IT’ band have just released Zaba– their debut record. It’s out now via Caroline/Wolf Tone Records.

Just a quick update from a couple of weeks ago – The Foo Fighters will release their new record. It’s going to drop THIS NOVEMBER. I repeat. THIS NOVEMBER. Out through Sony.
Sheppard
They’ve scored the highest selling Australian single for 2014 so far (‘Geronimo’), Brisbane indie band Sheppard have just announced that their debut record will drop on July 11 through Empire Of Song/ Chugg Music/ MGM.
Remi
Speaking of rad Australian artists, Melbourne MC Remi has just dropped his new record, Raw X Infinity. He’s going to be touring nationally this June/July – so get on it.
The Broken Needles
The North Queensland via Melbourne rockers The Broken Needles are about to release the follow up to 2012’s Terra Nullius – called Holy Coast. It’s out June 20.
Suze DeMarchi & The Baby Animals
They’re legends of the Australian music scene – and now Suze DeMarchi & The Baby Animals are releasing a special deluxe version of their latest record – This Is Not The End. It’s out now.
Allday
